One of the most frequent complaints I’ve encountered concerning the promotional Blackest Night/Brightest Day power rings have been in regards to how absurdly large they are. In this case, I had to secure my White Lantern power ring from slipping off by wearing another ring on top of it. I had to modify the Green Lantern and Star Sapphire rings that I wore with my Star Sapphire costume by cutting off the tops of the promo rings and gluing them onto adjustable ring blanks. My boyfriend usually tapes the back of his ring to secure it to a wearable size, while some of my other friends have melted/hot-glued their rings shut in attempts for a better fit. I’ve also heard of other ring-slingers modifying their rings to be worn on necklaces, class ring style.
