Hipster Cyclops & Hipster Phoenix, by Joel Carroll[Inspired by Nate Bellgarde’s recent X-Hipsters!] Okay, I kind of really dig these a lot, specifically: the X-Men zipper pulls Scott’s black x yellow striped top Jean’s yellow cat-eyed glasses, in place of her mask double belts yellow matching funky, chunky kicks Also, I really love how Scott’s visor works into this redesign quite impeccably.

Okay, I kind of really dig these a lot, specifically:

  • the X-Men zipper pulls
  • Scott’s black x yellow striped top
  • Jean’s yellow cat-eyed glasses, in place of her mask
  • double belts
  • yellow matching funky, chunky kicks

Also, I really love how Scott’s visor works into this redesign quite impeccably.

This shirt is utter perfection; the silhouette of Jean Grey within the Phoenix symbol is simple and chic, and I love that this shirt is available in every incarnation of Phoenix. Personally, I’m quite partial the the classic green Phoenix look.

I’m pretty much in love with all of Megan Lara’s artwork, especially her Alphonse Mucha-inspired renditions of some of the fiercest ladies of the X-Men, so I was pretty psyched to find out that Mighty Fine put her gorgeous art onto t-shirts: Mighty Fine is currently holding a contest for fans to guess which X-Men lady will become Megan’s next art nouveau muse: THREE (3) runner-up winners will get their choice of one of the three t-shirt designs, while ONE (1) grand prize winner will get all three t-shirts! Head over to Mighty Fine to enter the contest! :D Personally, I’m really hoping that Kitty Pryde and Lockheed will be the next shirt, however, I have a feeling that the next design will probably be Storm…
