bowlerhats:

Barbara Gordon wears Marc Jacobs Spring 2012, with a bonus Dick Grayson wearing Ovadia & Sons Fall 2012 for tigerlilyattackMarc Jacobs seemed so wonderfully inspired by 20’s and 60’s attire that I couldn’t resist. Happy Belated Valentine’s Day! Hope you like :’)

(Details I missed and didn’t fix because of lazy: her pockets and his right double pocket. Kind of want to do another one later to showcase her blue dress and shoes more.)

I’m still in love with this redesign by bowlerhats.

So Sleek, So Chic Dress, by ModCloth.

A (unintentional) Nightwing-inspired peplum cocktail dress? Get out of my dreams get into my Nightbird.

Unfortunately, this dress is no longer available on ModCloth*. However, this serves as a great example of how to rework a stellar costume design into a chic, ready-to-wear ensemble.

Click for more cuteness.

So at first glance, I totally thought they were all wearing mask-shaped bows.
Note to self: Make some mask-shaped bows/hairclips ♥

Back in the 80’s, my parents went on a date at the boardwalk arcade of one of my favorite beaches, where they got a custom good luck token with their names printed on it. It wasn’t until high school that I found it amongst my parents’ odds and ends, while we were sorting through all of our belongings prior to moving into our new house; since then, I’ve worn it on a necklace almost everyday. A couple months ago, I managed to track down someone who owns one of these token machines and got these made for Andrew and me for Christmas and our 9 month anniversary.
They read “DICK GRAYSON & BARBARA GORDON.” Because, well… yeah.

Since I’ve been getting a handful of questions in my Ask box inquiring about my good luck token necklace (seen here & here) and since this is somewhat comics-related, I figured that I’d finally share one of many nerdy Christmas/monthaversary presents that I exchanged with the Boyfriend Wonder. :)
What did you guys get for the holidays?

BONUS!
Dick disguises himself as a middle-aged man and Babs finds it attractive…
Goddamnit, you two - stop exhibiting bad taste in this issue. You’re supposed to be my go-to hero-fashion muses.
On a side note, I really ought to devote an entire day to showcasing Barbara Gordon’s hair.
