Captain America jacket, $395, by Volante Designs

Volante Design (who previously designed this awesome Wolverine jacket) just produced this prototype based on his Captain America jacket design (as seen on the bottom right). The fusion of military design elements with the structure of a motorcycle jacket perfectly complements the trompe-l’œil underbust corset comprised of the red and white stripes. The jacket is fully lined, custom made to measurement, and has three pockets (including one inner pocket and two outer pockets).

overgrownbat: Sartorialist Meets Superhero: Guy and Tora heat up (cool down?) the room together. I know I’m a day early but it seemed appropriate to submit these guys together and wish everyone a Happy Discount Chocolate Valentine’s Day. I simply cannot get over how much I love the contrasting bold black details on Tora’s ice blue coat. Guy Gardner’s ensemble is classy and simple, but I can’t help but want to switch his jacket for a modern black motorcycle-cut jacket.     Snikt Jacket, by Volante Design.

    Volante Design debuted this Wolverine-inspired Snikt Jacket a couple weeks ago at New York Comic Con. The jacket also includes a removable hood (as featured in the concept art on the right). I love how this jacket combines both sportswear and structural elements within its sleek design.

However, regardless of my disdain for North Face, I can totally see Tim purchasing the Denali jacket in “R Caldera Red” (all it needs is a Robin emblem!): … along with a Men’s Sphere Jacket in “Deep Water Blue,” as a gift for Dick ;)
