I love the top row of outfit panels, especially Ivy’s purple dress and her camel brown ensemble with the white boots.

Back when I first read this issue several years ago, I remember thinking that the large giraffe stuffed animal was actually attached to Harley’s dress in the second outfit panel, which I quickly ruled out. It wasn’t until Jeremy Scott’s collaboration with Adidas last year that I started having second thoughts about the possibility of Harley rocking an outlandish giraffe dress years ahead of the curve.

Last night, Conan O’Brien ventured to the Warner Bros. Animation Studio to critique the various design flaws and fashion crimes committed by some of the more obscure DC characters and concluded his visit with a proper superhero makeover by the legendary Bruce Timm.

While watching Timm briskly work to combine Conan’s ridiculous (…ly awesome) list of demands to create an utter masterpiece of a superhero, I couldn’t help but wonder what I would request if I were to get a legitimate superhero makeover [note: not cosplay, but my own customized superhero]. Conan’s request for a pocket on his belt for his Blackberry actually reminded me of how I actually created a customized iPhone pocket for my utility belt for my Batgirl costume, which ended up being one of the smartest and most useful design choices I’ve ever made for any of my costumes. At the very least, I definitely want a cat-eyed domino mask, intricately designed tights, a stylized utility belt to hold my bow-shaped Batarangs [and my iPhone (of course)].

What would you guys ask for if you got a superhero makeover?

Chynna Clugston [via Mad Mod] gives a super-deformed Starfire a mod makeover, and now she looks like she could fit in perfectly with the kids in Blue Monday :D

My favorite ensemble? The green and orange outfit with the go-go boots - green is totally her color.

Little Archie & friends get a Super-makeover as The Super Kids!

1. I love how all of their emblems are heart-shaped.

2. The bow on Betty’s cape! I’m kind of ashamed that I didn’t think of making a bow closure for one of my capes SOONER.

3. Hot Dog is totes Jughead’s Krypto! Though I would’ve loved to see Hot Dog in Ace the Bat-hound’s cowl…

4. Reggie has a villainous name and his costume is in the Joker/Lex Luthor’s warsuit color-scheme. Because he’s a jerk.

5. For the record, Jughead has the best emblem. Hands down.
