I..don’t know why this came about. Now that sweater weather is almost over, and spring is coming, all I can think about are breezy dresses.

Her pose is really Harley Quinn rather than Miss Marvel but the dress really calls for it.

Ok I really gotta work on that Black Jewels piece now T___T

I really love the balance between the full black skirt and Ms. Marvel’s fitted sleeveless leotard. I wonder if I could coordinate my Krypton Girl leotard into a similar casual ensemble once the weather gets warmer…

Between this and her Wonder Woman dress, I really hope this means that we’ll see more superheroic dress sketches from Hanie in the near future :D

Marvel goes mod at Dragon*Con!

I’m a total sucker for mod fashon (especially when mixed with a healthy dose of comic books), so I kind of freaked out when I came across this Mod Marvel group. These talented ladies gave some of Marvel’s finest a mod makeover at Dragon*Con, creating some incredibly cute and wearable looks!

Paloma Dress by Motel, $84, Topshop

In case anyone was seeking out a bodycon dress that was channeling Ms. Marvel, Topshop currently has this classy little number in stock. Since this dress is bold, yet sleek in design, a red sash belt may interfere with the shape and aesthetic of the dress. Instead, I’d opt to coordinate this with a red clutch purse, and smaller accessories, such as red stud earrings or red and black bracelets.
