FASHION TIPS FROM COMIC STRIPS

For Christmas, the Boyfriend Wonder gave me Gotham City.

As someone who never expects (let alone asks for) jewelry from others, I’m completely floored that he obtained my favorite piece from the DC Comics x nOir Jewelry collection. Thank you so much, Andrew - I’m forever in awe of you ♡

The detail that went into this piece of jewelry is simply stunning. I had never noticed this within the press photos of the collection, but there’s a tiny Bat-symbol atop one of the buildings! Furthermore, I love how the skyscrapers and the Cubic Zirconia windows are just ever-so-slightly askew in placement, giving this ring some grit and an air of vertigo upon closer inspection.

Simply put, Gotham City is the jewel of my collection. All I have to do now is keep her protected from riddling rogues, cat-burglars, and the like…

Wonder Woman Enamel Cuff Bracelet, nOir Jewelry x DC Comics, $140

The latest addition to the nOir Jewelry x DC Comics collection is a new variation of Wonder Woman’s signature cuff bracelets (the previous nOir Jewelry x Wonder Woman cuff bracelets can be seen here), that feature an enamel star motif in black or white. I’m a little bit more partial to the white enamel stars, however these bracelets would’ve been absolute perfection if they were available in red enamel.

Absolute perfection - the hoops would look so good with the Wondy necklace.

And words cannot express how happy I am that they added the [presumably not bulletproof] cuffs in this collection. My only gripe however is that they don’t come in a set of two. COME ON NOW, PEOPLE.

Yet another reminder that I really need to start wearing more button up shirts and to start up a sick collection of fly cufflinks.

I love how simple and classy these earrings are, however, all of this Catwoman jewelry makes me wish that there was a Catwoman pendant in the style of Selina’s cat-goggles.
