Marvel and 1928 Jewelry Co. Launches Superheroic Jewelry Collection [link]

Just in time for the release of The Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man films, Marvel Comics collaborated with 1928 Jewelry Co. to launch a jewelry and accessories collection inspired by some of Marvel’s finest heroes, including Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, The Punisher, and Wolverine.

Check out the Marvel x 1928 Jewelry collaboration on ComicsAlliance!

I currently have my eye on the Spider-Man Web Bracelet & Spider Ring and the Thor Charms Crystal Dangle Earrings. Which items in the collection are you coveting?

For Christmas, the Boyfriend Wonder gave me Gotham City.

As someone who never expects (let alone asks for) jewelry from others, I’m completely floored that he obtained my favorite piece from the DC Comics x nOir Jewelry collection. Thank you so much, Andrew - I’m forever in awe of you

The detail that went into this piece of jewelry is simply stunning. I had never noticed this within the press photos of the collection, but there’s a tiny Bat-symbol atop one of the buildings! Furthermore, I love how the skyscrapers and the Cubic Zirconia windows are just ever-so-slightly askew in placement, giving this ring some grit and an air of vertigo upon closer inspection.

Simply put, Gotham City is the jewel of my collection. All I have to do now is keep her protected from riddling rogues, cat-burglars, and the like…

I saw this purse from afar and immediately decided that I must own it.

  • 1” pins by Carolyn Belefski
(Pee-Wee Herman, Dita Von Teese, Wonder Woman, & Lamb Chop)
  • Archie Comics t-shirt
  • vintage Wicket keychain
  • vintage Star Wars comb, featuring the droids cruisin’ in a Landspeeder.
  • a bunch of vintage DC Comics game tiles/pieces that I will be turning into pins.

You’re My Heroine ring, $17.99, Modcloth.

Hit ‘em up with style with this ring from Modcloth! This bold, chunky ring is an affordable alternative to the Ambush POW! rings featured in my last installment of Super Style.

“There’s no need to fear when you’ve got superhero chic on hand! Slip on this heavy-hitting ring whenever your wardrobe needs a little punch - the red, comic book print, “POW!” and explosive, black band save your style from an onslaught of average accessories. This ring transforms a mild-mannered button down, chambray shorts, and wayfarer frames into a look fit for an undercover heroine. Don this daring ring, and win the fight against boring bling!” - Modcloth
