Marvel and 1928 Jewelry Co. Launches Superheroic Jewelry Collection [link]

Just in time for the release of The Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man films, Marvel Comics collaborated with 1928 Jewelry Co. to launch a jewelry and accessories collection inspired by some of Marvel’s finest heroes, including Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, The Punisher, and Wolverine.

Check out the Marvel x 1928 Jewelry collaboration on ComicsAlliance!

I currently have my eye on the Spider-Man Web Bracelet & Spider Ring and the Thor Charms Crystal Dangle Earrings. Which items in the collection are you coveting?

ATTN ARCHIE COMICS: I’d also really love a shirt or pin with the Archie-fied Punisher skull on it.

To his mother…
This kid was probably 13 and the shrieking and crying fit that followed his mom’s answer of ‘NO’ was truly hilarious.

Give your 13-year-old son the gift of inciting fear into his peers with a classic Punisher logo shirt [$18, StylinOnline]:

Mighty Fine’s Latest Web-Exclusive Marvel Tees are Ready for Action

Spring’s been sprung for a month now, meaning the t-shirt season into full-swing. Capitalizing on our collective ambition to soak up the sunshine Mighty Fine’s bolstered their inventory with enough new Marvel tees to choke a hammer-throwing space horse (which, by my feeble estimate is about 10).
We’ve got the lowdown on MF’s web-exclusive wares at ComicsAlliance.

MoCCA Fest 2011 Fashion: Day 2 (04.10.11)
After an incredibly busy Saturday, I spent Sunday laying low at MoCCA, taking the time to browse through each table, meet artists, and accumulating new comics and artwork. I was also approached by the adorable Wendy (on the left), who was not only a fan of Fashion Tips, but clearly put them into practice as seen in her adorable Punisher ensemble :)

Marvel heroes coin/card case key chains, $5.99, Midtown Comics.
When I swung by Midtown Comics during my NYC trip last month, these adorable Marvel coin/card cases caught my eye. While they aren’t exactly new products per se (they were released in Summer 2010), I really loved the bold look and convenient size of these coin purses. At approximately 2.5” x 4”, they’re the perfect size for train cards, IDs, credit cards, and cash, especially if you’re on the go and don’t feel like lugging around a larger wallet (one of my biggest gripes when traveling or going to a convention).
And of course, there’s also a Spider-Man case in this collection:

Now, if only we can get some similar coin purses featuring Marvel ladies and/or DC characters… GET ON IT, PEOPLE.
