Head over to ComicsAlliance to check out the things we bought and what we thought about New York Comic Con 2012!
In which, all of the cute things that I acquired at NYCC 2012.
What were your favorite purchases at New York Comic Con?
Velvet Batman dress, by All That Jazz [circa 1992]
[currently on sale at Lynn’s Rags]
Despite the fact that this dress is approximately 20 years old, it features some of this year’s hottest (or rather, recycled) trends: velvet, bodycon, mesh cutouts, and The Dark Knight. This dress was originally part of the All That Jazz x Batman Returns retail collection that was released in conjunction with the film in 1992.
Conclusively, Batman never goes out of style.
Boston Comic Con 2012 swag: vintage Batwoman & Robin flicker rings (presents from the Boyfriend Wonder ♥)
In action:
I still need to get around to photographing the rest of my Boston Comic Con swag, but for now, here are two of my favorite items that I came home with this weekend :)
Vintage Kryptonite necklace, $29.99, RetroNew.
“Make YOUR SUPERMAN Defenseless” (uh, what?) with this vintage Kryptonite necklace. Personally, I prefer my Kryptonite to be a more vibrant shade of green, but I really like how charming and inconspicuous this pendant is.
Regardless, my search for a Kryptonite ring continues forth~!
