FASHION TIPS FROM COMIC STRIPS

Ladies and gentlemen, this is one of my most coveted fictional costume accessories at the moment.

Back in the late ‘70’s, there was a live-action Spider-Man TV series in Japan that ran for forty-one episodes. The general plot of the series deviated greatly from the original Marvel source, utilizing elements of sentai (including henshin, giant robots, and villains in audacious ensembles). The main character, Takuya Yamashiro, transforms into Spider-Man with the use of his Spider Bracelet (above), which contains his Spider-Man suit (aka the Spider Protector), a telecommunicator, gas bombs, and acts as his web shooter.

Since I’m a sucker for accessories that are streamlined, multi-functional, and can contain an entire outfit within a tiny compartment (like The Flash’s ring), I think it’s imperative that I own a Spider Bracelet in my jewelry collection.

Beauty tip: Refrain from sharing makeup with your friends (even with your bestie), to avoid spreading germs or diseases. However, in the case that you’re invulnerable to the toxins found in Poison Ivy’s lipstick, I’m pretty sure that the possible consequences of unhygienic makeup routines are the last thing on your mind.

How to Make a Ramona Flowers Halloween Costume

And finalement, we’re upon the Finest Hour.

So first of all, that star hair-clip that every Ramona Flowers cosplayer is currently coveting was actually inspired by my e-friend [and one of my favorite Ramona Flowers cosplayers!] Jamie’s star-shaped hair-clip. Absolutely adorable, plus she’s just as fashionable as Ramona herself :D

Since I have a penchant for cute hair accessories [oh hey, giant bows 24/7], I kind of want to make a large star-shaped fascinator… and yet another thing to add to my Scott Pilgrim fashion wishlist/crafting to-do list..
